Inspired by the newsboy sellers of the early 1900's in New York City's Union Square Park, LuLu LoLo "14th Street NewsBoy" hawked "The Fourteenth Street Tribune, AIOP Edition" at Union Square on 14th Street one day a week for four weeks in October 2009 as part of Art In Odd Places: Sign.

Each week 350 copies of the newspapers were given away free to the passersby on 14th Street by LuLu "14th Street NewsBoy." At the end of the four weeks a total of 1400 (symbolic of 14th Street) copies of "The Fourteenth Street Tribune, AIOP Edition" were read by New Yorkers. "The Fourteenth Street Tribune, AIOP Edition" was researched and written by Editor in Chief LuLu LoLo and the tabloid recalled the famous, notorious, and tumultuous events from the history of 14th Street. (See LuLu LoLo, Extra! Extra! Read All About 14th Street, Art in Odd Places, October 2009.)

And as "14th Street NewsBoy" LuLu shouted the following headlines:

"Boss Tweed Done in by a Cartoonist"

"Oscar Wilde Swindled in a Con-game"

"Lillian Russell's Mother runs for Mayor—First Woman to Run for Mayor! She got 4 Votes!"

Now anyone anywhere in the world can read these scintillating issues!
